Happy St. Patrick's Day 2009

Spring is only a few days away, and the annual Kingston St. Patrick's Parade is a sign that warmer weather is just around the corner. Here is a few pictures of the parade. It was a beautiful day.

George's 14th Birthday Party

We celebrated George's 14th birthday on January 17th, 2009. It was a fun filled day. He had invited about 12 family and friends to join us at Mid-City Lanes at 12 noon on Saturday for a cosmic bowling pizza party. Afterwards George had a basketball game scheduled at the Mid-Town Neighborhood Center. George's team won the game. After the game, most of the party goers joined us at our house where we played pool and video games and had a spaghetti dinner. Finally 6 of the group stayed for a sleepover and awoke to a pancake and sausage breakfast. All in all, I would say George and all of his friends and family had a great time. George wishes to thank everyone for coming to his 14th birthday party and for all of the fabulous gifts he received.

Raul's Restaurant & Bar 2nd Place Finish

Congratulations to our pool team " Raul's Restaurant & Bar" for finishing in 2nd place out of 16 teams. We are a little disappointed in not finishing in 1st place, because we would have advanced to the APA regional tournament in Connecticut. Success in Connecticut would of provided us with a trip to Las Vegas and a chance to compete for $25,000. Well there's always next session which is already under way, and were off to a good start winning 4 out of 5 matches on opening night. The current members of our team are, Captain Dave Williams, Sean Barringer, William Hyatt, George Williams, Derek Mendock, Kevin Bronson and Kyle Heins. The second place finish provided us with the trophy you see me holding in the picture and $1575.00 in prize money.

Happy New Year 2009

Welcome 2009!!! Hopefully this year is a great year for everyone. The country is going through some difficult times now. The economy, foreign affairs, unemployment, etc. Cut backs are happining everywhere and I hope we all not only survive, but thrive in 09.

Snow and how we get rid of it.

After the snow storms blanketed Kingston last week. It's time to start clearing the streets of the snow. These pictures show how we do it in Kingston. I was driving truck #33 taking the pictures.
